Learn to paint beyond your imagination. Using a photo reference or painting from life, students will use traditional painting techniques to help them alchemize their image into the world of painting rather than merely imitate a photo. Learn the fundamentals such as getting an accurate likeness, an aesthetically pleasing design, color and value unity. Students are welcome to use the media of their choosing such as oil, pastel, or drawing media.
