PELHAM ART CENTER presents two exhibitions as part of its celebration of 25 years at its present location on Fifth Avenue and the 40th anniversary of its first event as the Pelham Art Happening.

A juried exhibition entitled "Birthday!"  invited artists to submit artwork to be considered for a group show on the theme of birthday.  A $1,000 cash Juror's Prize will be awarded at the opening reception on May 7. This exhibit and award are made possible, in part, with generous support from McClellan Sotheby's International Realty of Pelham.  

Exhibiting artists include Mieko Anekawa, Patricia Castaldo, Sonia Dionzio, Janice Farley, Natalie Giugni, Erin Goldberger, Shannan Lee Hayes, Alexander Harrington, Robin M. Jordan, Kaitlin Kerr, Luis Locarno, Sara Lynch, Gretchen Mahnkopf, Susan Manspeizer, J. Adam McGalliard, Travis Mong, Joanne Orce, Laura Taylor, Alison Wermager, and Bobby Ziemba.

The second part of the exhibition, Looking Back: 40 Years at Pelham Art Center, organized by Marsha Morton and Andrea Bayer, includes a selection of artwork by exhibiting artists from all four decades, representing the Art Center's diverse history of exhibition programming.

Exhibiting artists include Doug Baz, Judith Belzer, Siri Berg, Howard Cook, Janet Culbertson, David Febland, Barbara Garrison, Anne Gilman, Robin Gneiting, Douglas Kent Hall, Susan Hamburger, Adela Leibowitz, Kumi Korf, Danielle Krcmar, Barbara Minton, Susan Nathenson, Roberta Paul, Merle Perlmutter, DeWayne Philips, Alexander Rutsch, Tommy Simpson, Candace Taubner, Nancy Warner and Randy Williams.
