Summer Camp

Experience creating portraits in various artistic styles and mediums! In this class, students will have fun exploring different techniques and approaches to portraiture. We will be drawing from observation and utilizing photos/magazines for reference as well as examining portraits by famous artists such as Frida Kahlo, Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso and more! Each session, students will create a portrait of someone else or self-portrait in a different style with a variety of traditional and unconventional materials including cardboard, pipe cleaners, paint, crayons, etc.
