Learn how to render a realistic human figure! Working from a nude model, students will understand fundamental principles such as composition, scale, proportion, perspective and value, which are key to successful life drawing. Students will get the opportunity to examine the figure in relation to space and volume. Gesture, anatomy, and expressiveness of the human form will be emphasized. Working in charcoal, we move from short poses for sketches to long poses for complete, finished drawings. All levels are welcome.
