Explore the magic of drawing and painting! In this class, young artists will learn fun techniques on how to draw, layer and combine a variety of art materials to create unique works of art. The instructor will guide students through drawing exercises on understanding edges and space, relationships between objects, and light and shadow. Work from still life observation and personal subject matter to gain an understanding of basic drawing techniques with an out-of-the-box application. Students will explore and experiment with various drawing and painting media including pencils, charcoal, markers, acrylic, oil pastels, acrylic markers, soft pastels, pen and ink.
