Explore your inner Picasso and create your own unique works of art! In this class, students will learn about the fascinating life of Pablo Picasso and study his colorful stages. Picasso was so experimental, and created so many different kinds of art that historians have divided his life and the art he made into stages. We will closely examine the Blue Period, Cubism, Surrealism, and more. Students will view famous paintings and create their own masterpieces inspired by Pablo Picasso and his unique style and techniques. The goal of the class is for students to create 2-3 artworks in the span of 8 sessions to allow for thorough concentration on technique.
