Discover the creative, expressive art of mixed media! Using a wide range of unique and interesting materials, your child will incorporate texture, color, shape, and pattern into works of art. Young artists will explore composition, layering, transparency, and experimenting with different ways to lead the viewer’s eye across a page. Work from still life observation and personal subject matter to gain an understanding of basic painting techniques with an out-of-the-box application. Students will experiment with various media including color pencil, soft pastels, oil pastels, watercolor, acrylic, and more!
