    If you work with a glue stick or use acrylic (Golden Paint) soft gel for glue, bring it. Bring a glue brush. The instructor will supply 14×11 inch Bristol paper substrate, magazine and other papers, and tools for collage.

In this workshop, students will create an abstract or semi-abstract portrait collage with photographs, photocopies, magazine papers, and text. The portrait can be of anyone – even a favorite pet! The collage can also include fabric and low-relief (flat) ephemera related to the portrait subject if desired. Students will play with the arrangement of papers and other media to further engage the eye. The workshop will include a demonstration, tips on collage technique and individual guidance. All levels are welcome to attend.
