Winter Class

Secure your goggles as we dive into the ocean and learn about the fascinating world of sea life! All the oceanographers will use a myriad of materials and objects that are associated with the sea to create a beautiful large scale sea mobile inspired by life under the sea. This project will be constructed throughout 9 sessions and will be divided in three parts: Participants will create large 3-dimensional sea creatures of their choosing (fish, jellyfish, sharks, octopus, etc), then we will paint the sea and incorporate mixed media materials, finally we will assemble our mobiles and incorporate last minute embellishments to our work. This type of work will engage their minds and imaginations – and most importantly, have FUN!
