Winter Class

If your child is interested in exploring the art of telling a story through a unique combination of images – you’ve come to the right place! Students will learn to create stories through illustrations and character design with digital and traditional art media. Materials include, but are not limited to, pencil, markers, color pencil, and various digital platforms. We will focus on weekly themed projects and prompts to develop our stories and visual language while also learning about color theory, drawing techniques and more. Students are encouraged to explore different genres such as fiction, horror, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, etc. At the end of the class, students will take home their completed graphic novel to share with friends and family.
