Selena Lozano
Selena Lozano was born and raised in New York and currently resides in Manhattan, NY. She has received a Bachelor in Fine Art from SUNY Purchase in 2019. Her work is driven by her nostalgic memories of her upbringing and also her Mexican-American heritage. Raised by two immigrant parents and being first generation Mexican-American, Selena explores the meaning of being Chicana through the usage of iconography/imagery, color palette and playful compositions. Selena has exhibited work throughout New York; from a solo show for Artsfest in New Rochelle to painting a mural in White Plains and being included in group shows in Manhattan.
