Abundance of Culture by Lance Johnson
November 28, 2020 - January 1, 2022

A new public mural by Lance Johnson is now on Pelham Art Center’s 3rd Street doors. The mural is a celebration of Pelham Art Center as a local community space for art and culture–featuring the Art Center’s signature red and orange colors along with spray-painted words including “elevate,” “inspiration,” and “hope.”
Artist Statement
In these times, art is therapy. Not only for the artist but for the viewers of the work. Art is a dialogue across cultures and languages. I’m honored to celebrate the amazing creative expression happening in the Pelham Arts Center. I want this piece to be a welcome to all people in the community.
