Pelham Art Center Health Regulation Notice

March 11, 2020

The health of our students and staff is of utmost concern at the Pelham Art Center.  We want you to know that we are following closely the developments concerning the coronavirus and local closures.  We remain open with a full slate of classes and events.  If any closures become necessary, we will post them on the Art Center website (pelhamartcenter.org) and will reach out to impacted families.

In the meantime, we have implemented the following policies and procedures in the interest of preserving the health of our community:

  • No student or individual who is sick should participate in Art Center classes or events, or enter the Art Center building.  This is a time for caution, so if you are feeling at all unwell, please stay at home.
  • All individuals, including students, must wash their hands upon entering the Art Center and prior to participating in classes.
  • Antibacterial cleansers are available to all students and teachers, in order to sanitize materials brought to classes.  We ask everyone’s cooperation in ensuring that materials at the Art Center are kept clean.
  • The Art Center is undertaking regular and thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all classrooms and other common areas.

The Pelham Art Center serves as a resource for our community and creative outlet during this difficult time.  We hope that you can find in the arts a source of inspiration and calm.
